From July 20 to 21, 2026, the regional preliminary rounds of the 20th CIMC “Siemens Cup” China Intelligent Manufacturing Challenge were hosted by the School of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering at Jilin University.

Co-organized by the China Simulation Federation and Siemens (China) Co., Ltd., the CIMC “Siemens Cup” is one of the most influential competitions in China’s intelligent manufacturing sector. This year’s regional event brought together over 180 participants from 22 universities across six provinces and municipalities, with 62 teams competing. The competition featured hands-on tasks in intelligent equipment design and commissioning, as well as machining simulation and verification, showcasing the solid technical skills and innovative capabilities of the participants.
