课程简介:计算机图形学是二十世纪60年代初期,结合古老的图学理论和崭新的计算机技术而产生的一门新兴学科。它不仅涉及到有关计算机的理论与技术,而且也综合了数学、几何学、工程图学、算法语言、数据结构、工业造型等多门学科,因此可称之为一门边缘学科或交叉学科。计算机图形学不仅是计算机辅助设计(CAD)与计算机辅助制造(CAM)的重要组成部分,同时也是企业管理、科学研究、教学、生产等行业开展工作的一种有力工具。计算机图形学与其他相关科学和技术互相渗透、互相补充、互相促进,构成了高科技群体的飞速发展新局面。因此,计算机图形学是当前科技领域的前沿学科、热门学科,具有广阔的发展前景。
计算机图形学是计算机应用的一个重要领域,是一门研究如何利用计算机生成、存储和处理图形信息的理论与方法的学科,也就是研究用计算机进行数据和图形之间相互转换的方法和技术。本课程是一门实践性较强的技术基础课,其主要目的是使学生获得在计算机图形生成与处理方面的基本理论和基本方法,培养学生能够应用计算机来解决在科学研究、工程设计与制造中有关图形处理的能力,在图形学理论与算法方面的科研能力,应用高级绘图软件及对其进行二次开发的能力,并具有开发大型通用或专用绘图软件的能力,为后续的课程学习及毕业设计,以至于毕业后的工作打下坚实基础。
Brief Introduction of “Computer Graphics”
In the early 60s of the 20th century, computer graphics was created as an emerging discipline, combining the theory of ancient graphics and new computer technology. It not only involves the related theory and technology of computer, but also integrates mathematics, geometry, engineering graphics, algorithmic language, data structures, industrial modeling and so on. Thus it can be called as a cross edge discipline or subject. Computer graphics is not merely an important part of computer aided design (CAD) and computer-aided manufacturing (CAM), but also a kind of powerful tool for carrying out the work of enterprise management, scientific research, teaching, production and other industries. Computer graphics and other related science and technology mutually permeates, supplements and promotes, constituting the rapid development of high-tech group. Therefore, computer graphics is a frontier, popular subject in the field of current science and technology, and has a broad development prospects.
Computer graphics is an important field of computer application, which investigates the theory and method to generate, store and deal with the graphical information by using computer, namely studying the transformation between data and graphics through computer methods and techniques. This course is a technology basic course of strong practicality. Its main purpose is to let students master the basic theories and methods in computer graphics generation and processing, to cultivate students the ability to process graphics in scientific research, engineering design and manufacturing utilizing computers, the ability of scientific research in graphics theory and algorithms, the ability of the application of advanced drawing software and second development, the ability of developing large general or special drawing software and to lay a solid foundation for subsequent courses and graduation design, even work after graduation.
